Grant Ellman was born to be an artist. He began playing piano at the age of four, continuing classical training for fourteen years. In this time, Grant’s performances won nine superior rankings and three gold cups from the National Federation of Music Clubs. At age eight, he picked up an electric guitar and quickly reached a similar level of proficiency, this time focusing on the technical music of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen.

At age ten, his band ‘Still Pending’ was lacking a drummer and Grant quickly stepped up to the plate. Completely self-taught, his band went on to earn considerable fame in their hometown of Portland, Oregon, packing notable venues such as the Crystal Ballroom, the Hawthorne Theatre and the Satyricon. This success lead Still Pending to win Cartoon Network’s national talent search, “Props,” and an all-expenses-paid trip to record a single in Los Angeles with the Grammy-adorned producer/engineer Ross Hogarth. At only age 12, Grant earned endorsement deals with Mapex Drums and Sabian Cymbals and became one of the youngest brand ambassadors in the music industry.

After several years of honing his production skills, Grant ended up at USC where he had the incredible opportunity to work with los angeles' best up-and-coming artists. As a freshmen, he quickly picked up the bass (his fifth instrument) and co-founded the band Fabriq. He produced Fabriq’s first single/video "Electric Flow" which organically earned 199,000 views on Facebook, 205,000 streams on Spotify, and an article on Perezhilton.com. Grant also produced Fabriq's second single "Misinformation" and third single, “Get Behind the Feeling,” about which Billboard wrote "the track evokes the soul-force of Prince and the pop-funk of recent Calvin Harris"

Recently, a profound spiritual awakening catalyzed Grant’s latest project, Awethentic.Life. This awakening lead Grant to realize that our reality is far deeper and more miraculous than it appears to be. After several years of meditation, Yoga, Shamanic Journeying, backcountry exploration and multifaceted consciousness research, Grant believes that there is a massive spiritual transformation taking place on this planet, and that humans have unlimited potential as creative beings. His ultimate goal is to unlock this potential in himself and use it to inspire and empower others.
